About this event
This interdisciplinary seminar will explore the emergent Smart Heritage discourse within the context of sustainability. It aims to bring together doctoral candidates, scholars, and early career researchers from different disciplines, as well as non-academic practitioners to share their research, experience, skills, and knowledge.
- Topics could include, but not limited to:
- Case studies of historic buildings monitoring, preservation, management, and adaptive reuse.
- Smart objects in cultural heritage for sustainable development.
- Challenges facing the development of smart cities, smart neighbourhoods, and smart buildings.
Submissions:
We welcome participants to submit proposals consisting of a title and abstract (500 words) in addition to a short bio (50 words) to cnhs@leeds.ac.uk by 30 July 2022, 5 pm (UK time). Contributions to this seminar will be either completed or work in progress.
- Accepted participants are expected to have a brief (Less than 15 minutes) presentation.
